I stayed at this cosy studio at The Nook for coastal walks and it was perfect. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The studio had everything I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a nice shower room. The bed was really comfy and there were thoughtful touches like a chalkboard welcome. The location was quiet, but close to buses heading to Bideford, Appledore, and beyond. A real home from home with lots of home comforts.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Very welcoming owners and the area is quiet. the bed was really comfy and the shower was good. It was also nice to have parking right outside the door.
The location was quite far from town and it was more in a suburban area. the photos of the sea view were misleading as there was no view from the apartment.

Very helpful hosts. Cosy studio space with well-equipped kitchen and nice shower room. Close to buses heading to nearby towns. Perfect for coastal walks and cyclists using the Tarka Trail.
Compact lounge/bedroom arrangement leads to disturbance when getting up at night. Lack of privacy due to the property being part of a house with the owners just the other side of an internal door.

our stay at the nook was exceptional. the host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home with a personal message. the well-equipped kitchen and handmade guide made us feel like we were in a cozy home away from home. can't wait to visit again!
Bed placement was a bit off.

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was incredibly friendly and left a heartwarming message that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. The handmade guide with recommendations for places to eat and visit was a nice touch. The location was convenient, with easy access to main routes. The studio was very clean and comfortable, with all the home comforts we needed. The owners were welcoming and the area was quiet.
The only drawbacks were the lack of privacy, as the property was connected to the main house, and the light pollution from the window on the door, which made it difficult to sleep. the compactness of the lounge/bedroom meant that one person had to sleep against the wall, causing some disturbance during the night.
